Photographing in kindergartens is a special experience for both me and the children.
When I come for the first time, the children are curious

what I bring and what I do there.
There are the cautious, reserved children who watch everything from afar,

and then there are the confident kids.
They want to know everything and would love to see their pictures right after the shoot.
When I come and bring the finished photos, they greet me from afar.
During the photo shoot, some kids are completely themselves, others put on frozen camera smiles.

I take my time with each child.

If it doesn't work the first time, I'll let a few other kids do it first

and the shy child can get used to the situation a bit.

I take several photos per child in different poses to increase the chance of really good photos.

For the kindergarten, however, this means that they have to plan more time for me

than the usual kindergarten photographers.
